Jay Schroeder

VICE PRESIDENT

  • Jay Schroeder graduated from The Ohio State University in 1993 with a bachelor's degree in finance. He grew up in Cincinnati and has been a resident of Westerville for the past 27 years, where he remains actively involved in the local community. Jay began building his financial career in 1992 at State Savings Bank, developing a strong foundation in savings and long-term financial planning. In 1998, he continued that journey with Fifth Third Bank, where he has built lasting relationships and a reputation for steady leadership and client focused service. Known as a community minded professional, Jay values trust, consistency, and helping others make informed financial decisions. His experience, local roots, and commitment to service have shaped his role as Vice President and continue to guide his work with clients and the community. 

Tom Misiuk

CHAIR & IMMEDIATE PAST PRESIDENT

  • Tom Misiuk is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in retail management, home health, and senior care placement. As the founder of a senior-focused company here in Genoa township, Tom is dedicated to helping families navigate the complex world of assisted living and memory care with compassion and clarity. Drawing on years of hands-on experience and a passion for helping coach, train and serving others, he brings both heart and expertise to every business interaction.  Tom and his wife Kathy along with their 3 kids call Genoa township home and are active in the central Ohio community through their volunteer efforts with their church, local schools and the Alzheimer's Association. 

Pat Blayney

DIRECTOR

  • Pat is a professional engineer and community leader with over 45 years of experience in civil engineering, infrastructure planning, and public service. A graduate of The Ohio State University, he has specialized in water, wastewater, stormwater, and roadway design, serving as Chief Deputy County Engineer for Delaware County and as a principal with R.D. Zande & Associates. Beyond his engineering career, he has held leadership roles as Genoa Township Trustee and with regional planning and transportation boards. A past president of ACEC Ohio and recipient of the ACEC National Community Service Award, he is dedicated to advancing his profession and strengthening his community.

Joseph Pemberton

DIRECTOR

  • Joe was starting nose guard on a winning St. Charles Preparatory varsity football team. After a freshman year at Kent State University (age 19), Joe was hired on three separate occasions to sell ladies shoes at Saks Fifth Avenue and was voted employee of the month —his first month—at Saks Fifth Avenue Las Vegas, Nevada. Joe's first management experience was working the midnight shift at FedEx Ground's Columbus, Ohio distribution hub. Joe eventually graduated cum laude from Capital University and would later complete a semester in good standing from Capital University Law School. Joe has served on these organizations: Past President, Delaware, Ohio Rotary Club (90 Year); honored by Rotary District 6690 (central and southeast Ohio) as 2018-2019, Young Rotarian of the Year; honored by the Delaware Area Chamber of Commerce as the 2018 Citizen of the Year; Past President, Board of Directors of the Strand Theatre & Cultural Arts Association (honored by Heritage Ohio as the 2021 Historic Theatre of the Year); Chair, Board of Trustees of the Ohio Gas Association; President, Preservation Parks of Delaware County Foundation Board; Treasurer, One Delaware; Director, Region IV of the Association of Ohio Commodores; member, Development Committee of the Delaware County Foundation; member, Olentangy Schools Key Communicators Committee; member, Board of Directors of the Recreation Unlimited Foundation; part of the Pemberton family honored by the Delaware County, Ohio Republican Party with the 2024 Sledge Hammer Award; honored speaker for Delaware Area Career Center's 2025 National Technical Honor Society; co-auctioneer Main Street Delaware's 2025 Annual Gala; past member, Bowling Green, Ohio Rotary; Past Vice President, Grand Rapids, Ohio Area Chamber of Commerce and MC for Grand Rapids Arts Council's Harvest Moon Galas. Joe has worked in his family business for 14 years and is the third member of the Pemberton family to serve as President of Suburban Natural Gas Company January 15th, 2020-present.

Gail Jamison

TREASURER

  • Gail Jamison graduated from Franklin University in April 1975 with a Bachelor of Science in Business with a major in accounting. She started working at her current firm in 1988 continuing to help businesses with their accounting needs, preparing and reviewing business and individual income tax returns, and preparing estate and trust income tax returns. She purchased the firm in 1998 and is currently the sole owner. She enjoys helping her clients understand their accounting and tax situations as her calm demeanor helps take away the stress and worries of her clients. Memberships include Ohio Society of CPA’s, American Institute of CPA’s, CPANetwork (serve as Secretary), Westerville Chamber of Commerce, and Genoa Township Business Association (offices held include Treasurer, Past President and Past Chairman of the Board).

Sara Walsh

SECRETARY

  • A founding member of GTBA and a Central Ohio native, Sara graduated with a BS from Otterbein University and MBA from Franklin University. With respect from her peers, in 2018, Sara was the eleventh woman elected President of Columbus Realtors; the over-century-old and largest local trade association in Ohio.  With her strong belief in community and political involvement, she served on the Board of the JoAnn Davidson Ohio Leadership Institute, the Genoa Township Citizen's Police Advisory Committee, was a founding member of the Genoa Township Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association, and presently serves as the Ohio State Realtors Political Coordinator for Ohio House Representative, Beth Lear.
